Hardware Engineer
As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and drawing the electrical installations of customer-specific and (modular) complex machines. This includes hardware that controls robots, vision systems and welding equipment. You translate the sales document and customer specification into the required electrical designs. You are the expert in the field of electrical engineering and provide the best solutions. You advise the project leader and work closely with other colleagues from Mechanical Engineering and PLC Control Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Specifying materials, components and wiring plans for procurement purposes.
- Providing the required schematics and project documentation for production.
- Responsible for the engineering of pneumatic systems and cooling systems.
- Monitoring and coordinate the progress of projects.
- Functioning as person of contact in case of deviations and suggest improvements.
